How long does it take to fix a dent ?

Can PDR fix small dents ?

PDR is perfect for small dents that do not have cracked paint and too much stretched metal.

What is the difference between conventional repair and paintless dent repair ?

Conventional repair is when the automobile's outer damaged panel is sanded down to bare metal and different body techniques are used like welding a stud to the panel and pulling out the dent with a slide hammer. After the damage panel is roughed out smooth. There will be a skim coat of plastic filler or bondo put onto the prepped panel and sanded smooth. After that the panel has primer sprayed onto it, then the base coat and then the clear coat applied in a paint booth. Finally the freshly painted panel is lightly buffed to remove any bubbles in the clear from painting. Paintless dent repair uses specially made rods, glue tabs, hammers and knock downs to slowly vibrate the metal either from the back side of the panel or the outer side depending on the location while using a PDR light to look at the reflection of the dent.

For our PDR (Paintless Dent Removal) Warranty to be upheld, we require clients to maintain the vehicles original paint properties in the same condition in which the vehicle was contracted for repair, considering normal de-metallization at the point of the dent repair to prevent repaired dents from returning. Our Paintless Dent Removal work includes a lifetime limited warranty for the current owner of the affected and repaired vehicle. Warranty is non-transferable, no exceptions. Claims are subject to review which takes into consideration the owners responsibility to maintain the vehicle in an acceptable and operating state. Warranty is good for as long as you own your vehicle. This warranty shall become null and void if the vehicle is sold, stolen, traded-in, owner transfer or subject to subsequent damage or in the event that LOTD can determine if the damage in question differs from the original repair order. All warranties are subject to exception, limitation and cancellation pursuant to conditions agreed upon in the repair order, signed by client and LOTD representative, prior to repairs being performed. If in the event LOTD Paintless Dent Removal process results are found to be defective under this warranty, LOTD will repair such quantity of dents and correct paint flaws, proven to be defective as a result of the LOTD process. LOTD will provide labor and materials free of charge during the warranty period. There is no warranty on repainted panels or replaced parts.
